There is dearth of empirical data on adoption in India. Very few institutions have initiated research in the field. There are very few books
on adoption with Indian perspective, and there is hardly a data driven apporach in most policy making.
Educational Institutions, Professionals and Regulatory bodies need to join hands in conduting in-depth research to collect data, impact assessment, effectiveness and efficiency of policies as well as corrleation between several attributes related to adoption, as follows:
